The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, relayed his message to his 23-month-old son on ESPN during his team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 4 — nearly a month after he broadcasted a similar message to his daughter Sterling Skye, 3.
In the new video, Mahomes could be seen telling the camera, “I’ll say goodnight to Bronze this time and I’ll try to score you a touchdown.” He then shot the camera a thumb’s up before running onto the field.
It appeared that he lived up to his words after helping his team defeat the Buccaneers 30-24 in overtime at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Miss, and making them advance to a perfect 8-0 run.
ESPN also shared the previous clip — captured on Oct. 7 during the Chief’s game against the New Orleans Saints — in which Mahomes said that he “wanted to tell” his daughter Sterling to “go to bed.”
While the two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren didn’t appear to be at the game with their mom and Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes, 29, the soon-to-be mom of three later shared an adorable clip of her daughter sharing her thoughts on football players trying to steal the ball from her quarterback father.

“What’s so rude of them?” Brittany could be seen asking the toddler in the clip.
“If they take the ball from daddy and score a touchdown by theirselves, that means they’re so rude [sic],” replied Sterling, who appeared ready for bed in a pair of fire truck pajamas.
Brittany had earlier rocked a double denim outfit with a white T-shirt and grey Converse sneakers as she cheered on her husband from the stands.
In another video posted by ESPN on X (formerly known as Twitter), she and Patrick could be seen sharing a sweet kiss on the sidelines before the game kicked off.
Alongside Sterling and Bronze, the couple are also expecting their third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together, another 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl. They announced the big news in July with a family photoshoot showing the family together in all-white outfits with sonograms. “Round three, here we come,” they captioned the post.
The couple often share cute videos of their kids on Instagram, and it seems that Patrick is getting his son into football early. Last month, the Chiefs football player was photographed by his wife sitting with the couple’s son in the bleachers at a local high school football field to watch a game together.
For the night out, Patrick wore a gray hoodie and sweats, as Bronze matched him in a crewneck-and-sweatpants combo, both of which featured illustrations of sporting equipment such as basketballs and hockey pucks for the Blue Valley West High School game.
“Friday night lights,” Brittany captioned the snap, which Patrick also reposted on his own Instagram Stories.
